Camp at Sea and The Basement take the concept of interactive leisure activities for young sea travelers of various ages to another level.
Built in 2018, Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Edge was the lead ship of the Edge class, born to revolutionize the experience aboard a cruise ship. PPS was responsible for the construction and production—ceilings, flooring, walls and furniture—of the two recreational spaces for kids and teens: Camp at Sea and The Basement. Designed by Wilson Butler Architects as contemporary projects aimed at enabling the enjoyment of a number of interactive experiences, the two spaces were completed by a team of Portuguese subcontractors and suppliers assembled by PPS.
